Symon's work includes training in media and campaigning skills, as well as teaching and speaking on political and theological issues. 

He can deliver both brief workshops and longer-term training programmes.  For example, he has provided:

• Tailormade training days in PR and media for staff at oganisations including People & Planet and the Student Christian Movement (SCM). 
• Several days induction into campaigning and media skills for newly elected officers of the University of London Union (ULU).
• Brief workshops at conferences run by the Campaign Against Arms Trade (CAAT) and the Fellowship of Reconciliation. 
• Sessions on sexuality and ethics as part of the Body & Soul weekend run by the Workshop course. 

Symon also teaches practical theology part-time for the Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre.     

In addition to delivering training on media and PR, he can provide freelance PR services.
